Appalachian Psychoanalytic Society welcomes new members. We accept licensed mental health providers as professional members. Graduate students in clinical or counseling psychology, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or social work, may join as student members. Undergraduate students with a demonstrated interest in psychoanalysis may apply for student membership if they are sponsored in writing by a Professional Member and approved by the Membership Committee. Others interested in psychoanalysis may join as scholar members upon approval of the APS Board. No previous knowledge or specific training in psychoanalytic studies are necessary. Please note: our membership year is August 1-July 31.
Member benefits:As part of APS' commitment to Division 39, we are able to provide stipends to graduate students and early career professionals to attend the Division 39 Spring Meeting.
